How to get from SE Portland to Estacada, according to the movie Old Joy:

  1. From SE Portland, cross the Willamette River and head West on HWY 30 towards Astoria (the complete opposite direction of Estacada, and not even on the right side of the river).
  2. After passing Sauvies Island, figure out a way to cross back over the Willamette River even though there isn’t a bridge (ferry maybe?).
  3. Return to where you started in SE Portland. The St. John’s Bridge will be on your right.
  4. Head south on I-205 (this is actually the right direction).
  5. Stop heading towards your destination, and transport yourself back to HWY 30 towards Astoria (Maybe hit up a holodeck and get beamed there?).
  6. Get beamed back to I-205 South. You’re there!
